The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nation (FAO) under the Integration of Nutrition into Extension and Advisory Services project (GCP/INT/714/GER), collaborated with African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS) and Forum for Agricultural Advisory service – Kenya (KeFAAS) in undertaking a study on capacity gaps constraining integration of nutrition into extension. The study utilized the Global Capacity Needs Assessment (GCNA) methodology jointly developed by FAO and the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS). The study was coordinated by the Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services – Kenya (KeFAAS). To disseminate the findings and draw attention to recommendations arising from the study.
KeFAAS held a series of webinar events that brought together actors in agriculture extension and nutrition to deliberate on the findings and recommended actions, and deliver a call to action to African governments.
