The Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services – Kenya (KeFAAS) is a network organization whose core objective is to bring all players in agricultural extension in the country, under one framework. The rationale for the network organization is that the sector lacks coordination and consultative machinery resulting into duplication of efforts and resources. Once the organization is operational with network members the sector will be better organized and a robust agriculture extension service will be achieved.
The KeFAAS board of management recognizes the need to develop a Strategic Plan to determine and drive its strategic direction. This plan focuses on what the CF wants to accomplish, as well as moving towards larger goals. This is expected to ensure that the organization is managed at superior level and attains competitive advantage right at its formative stage.
